I have just fostered a sight hound. I was told he is a whippet x saluki. I have never owned a breed like this and I know nothing about them. I have had German shepherds, collies and huskies before. This is a new challenge. He is 2 and a half years old, has no basic training at all and has just been toilet trained. Inside the home, he will be encouraged with treats, only for short periods though. He gets bored. Outside, he has no interest in food. How am I supposed to teach him to walk on a lead? He's a strong boy and pulls all the way!
Also, he cannot be let of the lead. How can I tire him
