Hello all Falconers,

Just a few questions regarding certain books. Has anyone got or read a book called: A Merlin for me by John Loft? Also has any

falconers read or have in their possession J.G.Mavrogordato's ( A Falcon in the Field)? I have a great interest in book collecting, not just falconry books, but all books relating to birds, dogs, fox hunting, big game hunting and basically all natural history books. I have listed certain titles that may interest some members on this particular forum. Hope you all have good sport with whatever birds you keep and fly.

Mike Betts, David Jardine and David Grundy. 2 extensive volumes consisting of 1634 pages in total. Both volumes in hard green slip case.

(12.) The Golden Eagle by G.T.Wilkins. Many nice black and white photos of Golden Eagles at the Eyrie.

(13.) Something different, but relation to Scotland. Working with Nature by Ronnie Rose.

(14.)I think most falconers will have heard of Phillip Glaisers famous work, Falconry and Hawking.

Also to be continued.

I'm always interested in buying any Antiquarian, out of- date books on subjects relating to Falconry, birds of Prey, cage birds, dogs, fox hunting, big game hunting, and all type of natural history. Poyser titles and the New Natural series always wanted. Condition plays a large part in any type of book, plus with the protective dust jacket.
