Looking For A Perm??

Ok, im new to all this shooting lark and 6 months ago thought id never get to shoot anyone's land, iv had the chance to shoot illicitly! i know where there are loads of rabbits ect but wont! its not right, and im not going to risk my liberty just for a hobby.. in fact i thought id ploughed another load of money into an activity im not going to be able to do properly!

 

Well.. to all of those that are in that position all i can say is DONT GIVE UP.. im now able to hunt on two properties, one of which is about 200 acres!! and iv just heard from one owner thats got a friend with a very bad rat problem!!

 

What i did..

 

I placed an advert in a free ad paper.. and that is it... job done..

 

I recieved ONE phone call from that ad.. a very nice lady with 10 acres of small holding with a problem with Crows (That are probably Rooks) d a nasty fox.. it turned out that her property backs on to more working land that id need permission to shoot IN TO from hers.. and i have TWO perms from ONE call.. and now theres a rat perm in the offing!.. happy?? i think so!!! lol..

 

So guys.. dont despair!! if you go looking for it you will eventually find it.. it just takes time and a little effort, so keep going..

 

I just thought id post this as i know there are plenty of excellent shooters out there with nowhere to shoot of their own.. and if i can get some land, then so can you..

 

 

Id also like to add that iv leant a hell of a lot from watching the videos on Youtube from the likes of Si Pittaway, Daveyt64, Malc Ghostmaker, to mention just the ones i know use this forum.. Thanks guys.. but its a great way to gain knowledge and get ahead of the game..
