danebrewer10 6
Hi all, as all of you will know, the .17 HMR dosen't have very big magazines**, compared to the .22LR, so I was wondering, why can't they produce a staggered model like many CF rifles? the .303 British is a rimmed cartridge and that feeds fine from the Lee Enfield so why hasn't anyone thought of this before? (plus the .220 swift though semi rimmed feeds from a rem 700 action..) or is it not possible? 'cause if it is then you could probably have a 75%greater capacity in a staggered mag compared to a single stack mag... any thoughts? Cheers DB **apart from the Ruger rimfires.... Big_Rider 0
Yeah a little annoying isn’t it. I think that the Browning T-Bolt might have the right idea. I have read that they are going to produce a .17 and I can only assume that it will use the same twin rotary mag concept as the .22LR. That’s 10 shots. I haven’t seen anything to state otherwise. Ill probably be in the wrong. I’m sure others will know more. Quote Link to post
