A small clip of an Imprint Tiercel displaying to me while feeding,hopefully he will do the biz next season(sorry about it being sideways lol)

He's looking good. I kept a first clutch tiercel and second clutch bird back 3 years ago and both gave semen on the hat at two! both obviousley had different personalities and both needed different courtship techniques before they finaly mounted the hat, one is very confident and litteraly hits the hat when entering the aviary and the other has to go through the same ritual each time before he will perform, neither was flown......

 

With all these Donor birds some are far more willing than others. I know a guy with 5 semen donor Goshawks yet only two are star performers and the other 3 as good as Wednesday birds.....

My gyr/prairie started donating on the hat this year, I didnt encourage him he just started doing it I have to wear a cap everytime i go in or I would be washing my hair everytime I fed him.

Not much demand around here for Gyr/prairie semen though but he seems to enjoy himself.

Ive just got my Gyr/Prairie back out,i love em,full of fire lol.
