I don't know exactly what scope it is, doubt it's military grade as he's an older chap who lives on a farm but you never know. I will see him monday and find out. Thank you!

A friend of mine wants to import a scope in from USA (to the UK), apparently it's much cheaper from there but he's not sure if you need a permit to do so? It will be for a big rifle but becuse it is not a weapon or explosive I don't see why he'll need one but I don't want to go and say this, then find out the scope has been seized by customs! Any help would be much appreciated! Many thanks, Ben
