  2. Blank firing 8 mm ap92 semi auto pistol it is in fantastic condition .it does not need to be orange with it not being a new gun but you must have a valid reason for possession I.e dog training also comes with pistol bag and a few rounds to test etc Looking for ono
  3. valtro ap92 8mm blank firing pistol based on the nato side arm berreta ap92 have used the gun for dog training and the gun is in perfect condition , alo comes with a few 8mm blanks , this is extremely loud compared to 22 starting pistol and it is more realistic for training the dogs, please note YOU DO NOT NEED AN FAC for this blank pistol , also as this is not new so does not require to be painted orange but must have valid reason for possession i.e dog training , and must not be carried in built up area or be on show apart from on land which you have permission to use buyers must be over
  4. the .22lr if you put the practice in will do the job of a hmr so like deker said there no need for hmr , the .22 hornet is a cracking round especially for fox out to 200 as the little balistic tip dumps it energy on impact just right taking no prisoners i.e the .17hmr dumps energy to early in my opinion and fragments as soon as contact is made therefore wounding and not drpping the target, were as hornet needs to hit some solid bone then stops them in the tracks maybe a bit over kill for bunnies if they are to be ate but for just out n out vermin control it is a great caliber only down side i
  5. i own a brno .22lr mod 1 but it has been cut down to 12" , so i can shoot out of a vehicle much easier and on bipod at 50 yards on callm day will get half inch groups and at 100 will get 1 inch group , the bullet drop is 7 inch drop at 100 and 9 inch drop at 120 and this is with a shortned barrel , we have gale force winds up here at the minute and the 22lr would also move a lot but on the windy night you can generally get within 50 yards with wind in your face , we also shoot a lot of rabbits and the max we get is £1.30 per bunny and approx sell -100 per weekend to several butchers , , also w
  6. "All I can say is that is quite the opposite to my own experience with the .17hmr. To have had three bad guns.... the only common denominator is you (sorry), maybe you are the problem. When you say you have seen 2 different rounds lodged in two different barrels I assume you mean your own guns. I further assume that you mean the bullet partially detonated and travelled a short way down the barrel leaving the bullet in the barrel after the shell casing was ejected. Or do you mean the casing stuck in the chamber and was difficult to eject? Without clear facts this just sounds like gossip and
  7. cheers for the advice lads , i can put them in car and drive to training ground but my house backs onto farm so it bit of a wasted journery , i was also thinking of maybe getting one of the corkscrews with attachment to hold dogs down while i do a one on one then swapo them over which will also hopefully elp them be steady while watching the other dog work which sorts the prob for now but on some shoots i could quite easily just take one dog and this is when the prob will arise so i will have try and ut some music on is kennels , i have tried letting him in the house with the mrs and bairn but
  8. tried that mate but he not bothered about it were normally if they both in they jump at them and run into kennel , been thinking of maybe just seperating them for a day and just keep check of him then eventually he should calm it surely cos at the moment they only really apart for say 30 min max so wonder if the longer the better as he might calm down after about 30 min then les and less until he not bothered ..............HOPEFULLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. i have 2 young cockers litter brothers 9 months old and in november last year they were put out suprisingly not a whisper even the first nght they were out , the only prob i am having is i do 1 on 1 with them and leave one at home for 25min then swap over and the problem is one of them whines like mad when he alone i have just forgot about it and went ahead hoping he would just get over it when he relises we are coming back but it stil seems the same after nearly 8 weeks , any ideas folks atb kev
