First of all ,yes Andy ,the wheaton would not run anywhere as good as the other types,although i have mates who run wheaton xxxsss that have a lot more stamina,but they have a lot of heart. These last pups on site are nicely bred ,years ago i bought a dog off vic ,and got rid of it after i found he had just put "Blue" over a greyhound,the dog was skinny and nervous.I know you have to start a breed with a Greyhound,but i am all for top worker x top worker.A couple of years ago i owned a Wheaton x greyhound X Hancock collie X Greyhound ,

Singlehanded is just saying that the pup i kept back is the double of the old stuff he has seen,which i agree,after owning them,but i think this particular line is stronger ,with a lot more other things (charlie) being taken on the Dams side

I,m a bit confused here,what difference does it make ,if they have or not ,they look handy dogs,now mine are not pure Minshaw ,as i think yours are,nt,and i am glad of that ,because the breeding in the Dam of my pups is top class,i think Singlehanded would be willing to run his dog troy for you on charlie (Which is what he is bred for)and he has no Minshaw bloodlines in him ,but combine the two ,and i think i will of bred something decent

One thing is for sure ,iwill admit,Traveller was not the best fox dog i have seen,or owned .The best dogs i seen take fox where over in the Emerald island,these dogs would turn them once and pull without the slightest hesitation,I also owned a three quarter greyhound Bedlington ,called sally,which i bought off a lad from Belper in Derbyshire, and she was the buisness on them ,but lacked stamina to run the way i wanted her,but another cracking dog i bought off a farmer in Spalding Lincolnshire,was a second cross Collie ,Greyhound------he was good ,but i moved him on because his tail always stuc

I,ts easy to put a pit over a pure greyhound,and call it a lurcher ,but there is no past hunting history with either dog,the greyhound may of been a coursing breed or track dog,the pit a champion fighter,but what these dogs of mine have is good working pedigree(without the papers)which is known ,and kept going by a few of us. When you mate dogs like that ,it,s a gene pool,and you have to know the breeding way back to recognise types as there born,Singlehanded,s dog is a smart dog ,and longer than mine ,he has also thrown in colour to Brin,my one is more shortcoupled ,and resembling the old Minshaw type,there was also a really nice red bitch ,now this could of thrown to big jim i owned, or mother of traveller Grip.
