Have to have a little rant now about those Nightforce scopes, i have had S&B and leuopold in the past and i changed to Nightforce in 2003 and i have to say there is nothing even close to them for reliability, i have not had to re zero my 6.5 since 03(although i check it on targets regularly) and i was out on monday in the rain with my tikka 223 and i slippd on some wet rocks and landed on the rifle very heavily, i was expecting to have a pile of dust and glass when i took the scope caps off, perfect, checked it on a target yesterday and it was spot on at 200, i cannot stress how hard a fel

That other head has quite a sika look about it, is there sika in your area?

6.5x55 is best all round in my view, .270 is a horrific round, way too loud, too much recoil and muzzle flip, 6.5 down range holds more ft/lbs energy than it using same weight bullet

The Reflex only makes them a couple of inches longer and its class, i have a t3 tac with 20 inch barrell, heavy little git before i pimped it up with the moderator, scope and bipod but its dynamite for the foxes and greybacks, did i see a Night force scope on your 223??
