  1. Thanks, I paid for customs excise and tracking, Tracking is showing as left Shitzui airport? Sent to Heathrow airport hub, however it hasn't moved off this status for 21 days? Cheers guys, gals.
  2. Hi All, I purchased a Boruit head torch off this forum last month from Light in the box company, it stated that postage would be 7-10 days? I still haven't received the item 3 weeks later on. Has anyone else purchased from this company and had similar experiences? It said that the item was UK, however when I received my receipt for the purchase it said Hong Kong, think I've been taken for a ride, although I did pay by PayPal so hopefully covered?
  3. Ianm, I have purchased Winchester sub sonics, waiting for my cleaning kit to arrive before I send a few through the gun...hopefully well cleaned and oiled should give me the desired effect. Invested in a great set of scopes to top it off I hope?
  4. Blatsard took another one today, killed and ate the 8 week old chick in the open shed, nearly a week since it killed a strong hen? Will have to do some spying on the hens whilst they are out and about, may have to get the bird scarer out. One angry fog horn leg horn this week, pesky chicken hawk.
  5. Thanks all for the advice fellas, how would you go about cleaning the barrel and clip? I will have to invest in a cleaning kit, keep my shotguns spotless, so maybe a Xmas pressie for the Anshutz? Let you know how I get on.
  6. Think I might have had a typo error on post May use my pigeon decoys with the chicken carcass as a bonus,
  7. I think I will have to shoo it away
  8. Hi All, Purchased a second hand Anshutz 525 semi automatic off a matey use as a rough gun, it has a 10 round box mag which I thinks has a internal Spring mechanism which I think may be a little bit slack? Only thinking this as it sometimes fails to load the next round, I am using Eley's which I think are a little bit soft anyway, so would wear and tear around the muzzle(slight entry grooving on the barrel chamber) or would it be the internal lift Spring on the mag be the problem? Advice would be great, thanks all
  9. They feed In our orchard and follow the horses around the fields, to cover the orchard would be out of the question as it would need netting for the area the size about 15x15 metres if not more? They are "free range" by definition and I'd hate to lock them in, guess I will have to face the consequences on these actions and be aware. Thanks
  10. Hi all, Got 18 free range chickens on our farm, recently had a couple killed in the field by what I've been told is possibly a Goshawk? Went down to the shed one afternoon and a large bird took off right in front of me, I thought it was a buzzard or a red kite, as initially on the first one I thought the bird had died and these had come in to feed on a carcass? It Took off to quick and flew into cover so I couldn't get a great look at it. This has happened twice since, the birds they have taken are fit birds and quite heavy? So they have been killed on the spot and de feathered and partial
  11. Hi Administration and members, Thanks for the Add Hopefully I can glean as much info from members regarding livestock, hunting, shooting, dogs and equipment purchasing, I have worked dogs most of my life, enjoy horse riding and hunting on them, recently added a .22LR to my collection of field guns and air rifles, I work full time as an operational firefighter and run an equestrian farm with 17 acres with my family, farm has a mile stretch of well stocked tidal river which I hold 2 rods on, we also have some great wooded areas containing the shooting favourite of Pigeon and squirrel. Nice t
