The roe deer you see it then you dont .A beautiful deer and in my opinion the best stalking a man can do he is always on the move and you must have your wits about you at all times.

WEIGHT (live) :- ( 50 - 70 llb)

PELAGE :
Summer : bright red -brown lighter below no spots rump patch lemon - buff colour .Nose black chin white ; no visible tail.
Winter: dark brown - grey ; rump white buffs out when alarmed.

ANTLERS : Typically six points. Shed ( Oct - Dec ) In velvet up to ( Mar - Apr )

BREEDING : Rut ( july - Aug ) Fawns born may. Usually twins.

SHOOTING SEASONS : Scotland : Bucks ( Apr 1st - Oct 20th ) England : ( Apr 1st - Oct 31st ) .
Does : Scotland ( Oct 21st - Mar 31st ) . England ( Nov 1st - Feb 28th )
