Rolfe 2
The hard frost last night made for a fantastic walk this morning.......what a glorious day for a mooch along the hedgerows to survey some fields a farmer wants me to control the rabbits on. There is an old fence that runs the length of one field and the rabbits are doing imense damage to the winter wheat crop on the other side of the pasture field. It is a snaring paradise with well defined runs passing through some rough cover at the base of the fence line, (Glenn would give his right arm to have a crack at these beauties ) The dogs had a bit of sport too.....although they never caught a single bunny.........they certainly gave them some exercise. The safety of the buries was never more than a few yards away........so they all made it home (just) in the nick of time. Its on days like this that makes it worth getting out of bed early in the morning ..........just needed a hot coffee when i got back thats all. Here are a few pictures of the "Team" in action and the fence line that looks so promising. Rolfe
