bez 0 Posted November 5, 2008 Report Share Posted November 5, 2008 i thought i had cracked the retrieving training with my 8 month lurcher bitch she showed no interest a couple of months back but stuck with it and she was gettng there but the last 4 weeks she showing no signs of improvement she started coming half way or running around with the dummy then dropping it .im lost to what to do next was thinking about going to the local dog trainer would that be a good idea or even better anyone in lincoln area who i could meet up with would be great. everything thing else recall sitting etc im happy with. desertdog 149 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 i think they get bored, i have a pup 4mthsold she brings stuff to me, but im not going to over do it, i just treat it as a game and do it randomly, try that and plenty of fuss but not for to long. woodchip 2 Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 I have this problem with my 15 month old just keep at it he has good days and bad days i work myself around him when he has the bad days mine kills the bunnies but i had to ask myself was i really botherd but all my bunnies go to the ferrets as food.
