I shot many roe with a 7x64. but y want to buy a smaller caliber only for roestalking i'll hunt every year in england. Can you tell me what's the best choise ? Quote Link to post

Deker 3,450 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Share Posted August 29, 2008 Unfortunately ...as above...the .223 is not legal on Roe in England. You will not go wrong with a .243 but to be honest the .223 is perfectly capable on the Roe..but then there is the law so we must use bigger, but the stupidity is my .223 is conditioned for use on Roe in Scotland on my FAC!!
