Popular Post Arry 24,402 Posted Thursday at 20:43 Popular Post Report Share Posted Thursday at 20:43 Like I need another hobby Lol. My shoulder been playing me up for over two months and daren't go out coil to the soil so started cutting out old coin I found detecting. My first attempt was a 1981 2p the year my Lad was born, gave it to him as a key ring. Second attempt is a key ring for the Lads Wife. A 1927 crusty old one penny. This ie the third try because Wifey liked the Hare looking at the moon. Still needs a bit of tidying up with the needle files, work in progress. 1895 penny. Cheers Arry 29

gnipper 6,743 Posted Thursday at 22:42 Report Share Posted Thursday at 22:42 Nice them mate. I bought my mum a pair of coins turned into a keyring from hers and my dad's year of birth but it wasn't fancy like that. I found it on my drive recently because she's broken it

Trying to remove bits of broken saw blades from finger tips was never amusing Running the blade down a bit of wax makes it ( a bit) less likely to catch . I bet you probably know that though. .

Yeah I just realised I ordered some more blades and order 4's instead of 4/0 big difference. Ah well it's all a learning curve and I was only practicing and they turn out better than I thought they would. I used some grotty coins that took a lot of cleaning up but it gave them a sort of hammered affect that I quite like. Changed the fixing to the key ring with some scrap silver chain Wifey had think it looks a lot better. Cheers Arry.
