Out shooting tonight with Deker, got this vixen at 50-odd yards, she was peering through a hedge, I just scooted down to a gap and shot her. Credit to Deker for lighting in the above slightly-rubbish photo

 

Bullet went smack bang in the middle of the chest, clearly expanded very well because it didn't come out the other side, she went down like a sack of spuds.

 

And I then ruined the brilliant start (first 15 minutes of shooting for the vixen) by missing a 100-yard easy enough shot later on. one of those shots that felt good, everything said hit, but foxy escaped unscathed.
