TRUEBRIT66 1,664
Our council just agreed a 39% increase a extra £115 per month on a band D house, on this trajectory in another 2 years it would have gone up by 352% !!!! And just as another local holiday inn opens its doors to our friends from distant shores. Anyone else being hammered ?
tatsblisters 10,229
Just read in the local rag ours is going to be raised above inflation due the report says on funding South Yorkshire Police. It's another tax I begrudge paying especially when you see how Rotherham Labour council squander it on some stupid pet projects and then theirs the exstra cost of cleaning up after the Roma Slovaks who shouldn't even fekin be here in places like Eastwood and page hall. mushroom 13,226
If everyone just refused to pay, like the poll tax it will have to be reassessed I pay fuuck all here. Literally zero! When I do buy a house the annual payment is sweetFA in comparison to Blighty. At what point do you say enough is enough? Most of your council tax goes to pay wages, pensions and pet projects for foreigners! Fuuck that for a laugh. Time it was dealt with.
Greyman 28,901
I got out before the stampede life is going to become hell remember the old saying you will own nothing but be happy well it’s happening phase one you will own nothing because you can’t afford it any more and the happiness comes when they pick you up from the gutter and give you a pop up box to live in and a minimum wage job until you die but you will be happy because you are not homeless and broke any more, the ship is sinking and it’s time to get off
