Never seen before behaviour captured,

A Cuckoo lays an egg in a Redstarts nest, The Redstart seems to recognise the egg as a threat and destroys it. The Cuckoo then returns and attacks the Redstarts nest.

Never been known for a cuckoo to return to a nest it’s laid an egg in. It could be another female, and I’ve seen a clip of a cuckoo doing similar to a robins and wood warblers nest. It could be manipulating the redstart to build another nest so she can lay her egg

That’s the problem with listening to stats mate .It’s all hearsay whatever you choose to believe  .
