None taken mate, it's just how I write. My girlfriend did kick me in the shins and left me over the staff incident as well, lol. I didn't like her that much anyway.

Not too clued up on labs but cousin and uncle have had fair few. Last were half brother sister drakeshead, nothing alike in build but graft all day. Little bitch smash through cover, the dog seemed on

My big old lurcher dog was like Buck, would just wag his tail at other dogs, and was content to pish all over someones leg if they stood still long enough, anyway one day when an aggressive Dalmatian tried to have a go he tipped it straight on it's back then let him run away, woman owner didn't seem concerned at all when her dog was running growling at mine, her mask almost fell off when she seen her spoilt pooch get his bell rang

That's it mate, they all think it go when there dog acting  big bollocks, and aggresve, they feckin cry if dog stands up to them, turn it over. Told me wife about it, she said you don't want Buck fighting, said that's crap, these  type dogs have been  bossing him about for near 11 years,  he prob had enough, wife said yeh but Buck big strong animal even at his age, could do lot of damage if really started, you have to keep him on lead, I said yeh if been stuck on the lead, he might not fought back,  I watch him but if another of them bloody goes at him, well it's there own fault if wreaks it.!

Had to extend my hand down the things throat and pull his tongue before he let go with a yelp .

Labs and fecking sheep dogs to be avoided if not worked .

Completely agree, they are not soft dogs. My collie lurcher was attacked by a lab at 6 months and now he goes for them, of course because they are a  common dog this can occur almost every day and people thinks he's a c...t. I've been bitten a few times by dogs but only two breeds...... border collies (both times trying to get permission ?) and labs. Borders sneaked around and got me in the calf but labs were more upfront about it.

I have wrote on here in the past about dog aggressive labs. Not in gundog situations but pet owner dog walker's animals. I don't think it is because of working bred animals not getting the stimulation/exercise/socialisation but more to blood/breeding. Most pet or show bred dogs are very distant from the working bred stock.

Thankfully, for me anyway, I have seen a move away from labs to the various poodlexgundog types. Most are charming people and dog friendly little things. The only dog aggressive 1 that I have/did encounter in recent months was a standard poodle x black lab.
