Seen some good YouTube videos on it Yeah, I used to catch them as a kid on the Paramatta river in Sydney, it was badly polluted in those days but the eels thrived. I never weighed them but they were big and would release them. It turned me off eating them until a mate gave me some from a clean river, smoked. He reckons because they are oily they smoke up good, same as mullet. 1 Quote Link to post
