I've caught them in all sorts over the years, sometimes they walk straight in (not Often), other times it's taken ages.

I've found the taller and longer traps are probably best, and get a strong one, they will rip it apart if not!

The bigger the better, stay away from pedestal types if you can, much better to have a pull trigger,  foxes often dig under and paw through the mesh and knock the pedestal type.

Cover the floor no matter the type mate .Easiest way is to chop the top soil up where’s its going and work the trap back and forth over the area .Any bare patches ,shovel in a bit and do the same .As long as the bottom mesh is covered ,it’s out of sight of two legged vermin you’ll do fine .Might take a day ,might take a fortnight but you’ll catch in the end .
