I saw an advert for a horsedrawn trip from Llangollen wharf to the Horseshoe Falls and back.

That’s the one I was watching, the aquaduct is on most boaters tick list but as it’s a dead end canal can get a bit busy up there in the warmer months ?

Correct everyone. It's the Pontcysyllte aqueduct on the Llangollen canal.

Used to go to the lurcher show not far down the road from there...the Mrs has been across it a few times...

There's an aqueduct in the south of France called the pont du guard...built by the Romans its built dry stone...and carry water 50 mile...its an incredible structure...we visited it a few years ago and swam in the crystal clear water under it....you can still see the graffiti on it from the roman workers all in roman numerals of course
