Sunday day Gun day

Recommended Posts

A pleasant few hours stripping and cleaning guns, removed the NV from the.243 and refitted the vortex ready for the doe’s next week, give the.223 a good clean and refitted the NV, just need an hour up the farm now to get them zeroed, the .243 shouldn’t be too far off as I marked everything before I removed it

There’s something therapeutic about sitting in a room tinkering away

I’ve not had the.223 that long and it’s the first time I’ve owned one, I cleaned it properly and what a dirty round that is, it looked like I’d been shooting coal bullets through it

It's probably just graphite added to the powder mate. Used to control the powder burn speed and lubricate the barrel, amongst other ingredients.
