I put it down to the public perception on things most ordinary joe public are horrified about dogs killing things but don't bat an eye lid about animals and birds being shot.

I don't think they understand that a lot of shot animals escape to die a lingering death compared to next to none when hunting with dogs. A lot of prey animals get chased by predators on a daily basis so I don't think this stresses them out too much.

They basically banned hunting with running dogs in 2005, apart from rabbits on permission . I never had permission before or after the ban, but I kept hunting. This shite law will affect me

As everyone reading this is no doubt aware this week was a dark dark day for Scottish hunters with all kinds of actual killing of animals with dogs (bar rats and mice) completely banned by the Scottis

Nothing will ever be overturned... doesn't matter who takes care of the Helm and how much noise we all make...accept it's over, the only thing that is certain,is they will keep chipping away at what ev

Ain't that the truth every day at work i listen only for a short time the moaning and groaning of some of the workforce on how shit and poorly paid the job is and then moaning about others in other jobs who have had the guts to go on strike then it's back to boring conversations about football.

It’s all been said and done before boys ….

we should have torn London apart in reality

I marched in London (twice ) , Newcastle and Edinburgh , many more did as well and did more , but in earnest , if we’d all chucked in a fiver , we’d be running anything we wanted

@Francie, we don’t have anyone we can use in the lurcher community , no one , zip , no one who is clean enough , no one who the media can’t slate , no one who could take the onslaught . That’s the reality . And partly why we didn’t have a dog in the fight .

the likes of BASC members and fishermen aren’t out people , they just aren’t . And they know it .

They used the parliament act to force the 2004 bill through the lords , unheard of at the time .

the harsh sad reality is they just didn’t want us there or around anymore . Look at how Prescott spoke about the mounted packs . The hatred on his face for the activity was pure socialist force against the tories .

we just weren’t smart enough , organised enough and now , the door is closed . Forever . There’s no going back .
