Not at all mate, think about it ……they have done more for club football this season than any other team. Some clubs have been a great example of this obvious football fact, a fact that has always existed in football but that many seem to have either forgotten or don’t believe. No it hasnt dried up at all its just gone from a man who loved football and was there to lose money to a man who is there to make money......Boehly is a private equity man he's there to hollow out costs and make it a more attractive club to future owners.....Chelsea lost a million pound a week under Abramovich,Boehly is doing everything he can not to be anything like Abramovich yet in reality is just doing the same in a different way it will just be a constant battle with the administrators of the game to get around the next series of rule changes meaning the most important people at the club are the lawyers and accountants forensically trying to identify weaknesses within those rules while a lad like Mason Mount ends up sitting around looking to leave the club he loves.....as usual all the Chelsea lot will think everything is on the up and up when the truth is they again just a plaything for the super rich .....difference being by normal standards he is in with the super rich but among his peers he's a junior financial partner Edited June 4, 2023 by gnasher16 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
