Bought a 2002 focus st170 for 350 in November for £500 it’s in storage maybe a future classic who knows?

In terms of normal everyday cars i always think the whole " retro " thing plays a big part in their future value.....its like back in the 80's there were far better cars around than the Rs Escorts and Fast Fords Capris/Cortinas etc but it certainly doesnt seem to have harmed their value today as sporty Fords of that era are riding a wave of popularity at the moment fetching strong money...nobody ever thought a mark 1 Escort would end up going for 60k one day so why shouldnt the same apply to a Focus.... people get to a certain age when they can now afford stuff they liked but maybe couldnt afford when they were younger....hence " retro " stuff sells well.

If you have somewhere to store it just pug it away and forget about it for 15/20 years it'll still end up more than a bullseye worth of interest rates regardless?

Defo mate, it takes us back to when times where easier and makes us feel younger and as we get older we crave those days back, so a rip in a fast car of those times when we wanted but couldnt afford one is well worth the money, even if its only going back in time in our minds, its all about how they make us feel when in them
