mackem 30,271 Posted 19 hours ago Report Share Posted 19 hours ago Went to a mineral and rock show,miners from Canada and the states mainly but a few international,got chatting to an old guy in his 80's who lived way up north as a kid and tried prospecting,lived on shot game and fish and found a nugget of gold the size of a thimble while panning a stream,I love stories like that. I watched a thing about them tar pits a whilst back, crazy place I never really got the whole dinosaur an extinct animal fascination tbh there’s more than enough alive to keep us fascinated haha but the few times iv saw that big dude from the boneyard on a podcast iv been glued to. Puzzling how he found so many remains an then add in all the shenanigans with the museums an stuff it’s a mad case, would love to go have a proper look about, even if it did all jist look like ole bones to me haha 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
