About that time it became acceptable to " come out" admi baldness and shave your head, so I followed suit. Before that men were condemned to elaborate and fanciful combovers, shame, guilt or Irish jigs. It's reckoned Grant Mitchell from Eastenders popularised the shaved head and even made it fashionable.
