Lads away in Staffordshire having a banging weekend, he’s had 4 out so far from 20lb upto  36ib photos to follow the power of the full moon again

Shame,second biggest fish in my local club water,bit of a mug fish to be fair this was my third capture of it at 33ib,found belly up few weeks back although believed to be over 40 year old.

Nearly an expensive day out . Was adjusting the stupidly awkward brakes on my reel and the rod slipped out of my hand and into the canal , I dropped down and just managed to grab it before nearly £500 worth of gear sank out of reach . Managed 2 jacks so far but no perch

Never really done much fishing other than a bit of pole fishing as kids on the canal messing about. Best thread on here at the moment
