I heard of that years ago of deer coming from Wharncliffe chase . This muntjac was taken down Hertfordshire after me and a mate had stopped the weekend in London at my old mates place in the East end and after having a good night's drinking in the bird house had an eventful day's hunting with the lurchers.

I think he had luke the saluki at public stud the couple who bred my dog had took a large ex racer to him and she had produced a large litter i am sure it was nine dogs and one bitch and they were advertised in the shooting news at a reasonable price of 60 pounds.

This dog was bred by ginger French.. he’s was a brilliant dog.. there’s not much I didn’t do with him. He excelled on hares, obviously being a saluki cross, but he took fox, deer, lamped the beam perfectly, ferreted etc.
