My first proper lurcher bought out of the exchange and mart as a seven week old pup in the 70s from a place called Castle Bytham in Lincolnshire. He was a mix of collie/greyhound/Bedlington/Greyhound some of the older lad's I knocked about with said the cross would never catch hares he proved a few wrong.
