I’m not a fan of his at all anymore, but appreciate he has/had immense talent. His recent antics at Man U are an act of selfish treachery imo, and the fact he wasn’t fully utilised by Portugal at the World Cup speaks volumes for his stock there now too. For all that though, the media/social media pile-on is hard to watch…, some may say deserved or that it comes with the territory, but I haven’t forgotten him and his missus lost a son just a few months ago.
