Popular Post toolebox 1,384 Posted November 17, 2022 Popular Post Report Share Posted November 17, 2022 (edited) Amber is an English foxhound bitch I brought at the tender of 12 weeks old, at present she's about 8 months old .I've taken her with the rest of my pack of rabbiting /bushing dogs from day one, and she has never been a pup, apart from the odd play with another member ,when she felt like it . toolebox 1,384 Posted November 17, 2022 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2022 Amber is small for her breed, she was bred at a kennel that's the only one that breeds Foxhounds in New Zealand. At only 8 months old, She has some growing to do yet ,but fair to say, she is small for her breed. I really don't like big dogs for my type of hunting, it serves no real purpose for me. I have a friend who runs a pure GWP dog who is huge, a couple of hours in, and he's done, loudly puffing after crashing around in the heavy cover.
