Sorry to ruin the car chat I,m an old ford guy myself money no object, lotus cortina mk1/2 escorts etc but on top of still running on generators last night there was a lightning strike in the marina which knocked out even more leccy

That's the one but mine was white, i can remember having one of my lads in with me and we pulled up outside a shop and the back window exploded, we thought we were being shot at, Turned out the heated rear screen had malfunctioned and was on permanently causing it to explode

Funny enough I was driving down a little lane near Dursley today and there was a white bx sunk into the tarmac with a layer of moss on it outside a cottage

I traded it in for the new 328i, only had it a couple of weeks and the arse end went on a load of wet leaves down a lane with drystone walls either side. God knows how many times it spun and hit those walls, there wasn't a panel left straight on it.

Years ago had a ex old bill Volvo s60 t5 automatic smooth driving car with a good kick of power when you needed it. Think it was only 350bhp or something but it was like shit off a shovel, blew it up after a few months.

Why thankyou sir....ive got a few i chop and change quite a bit but dont really wanna sound all muggy and horrible saying what they are it dont really matter who owns what does it mate i just love cars.

I still crave after an old RS2000 Escort i had as a youngster .....ive seen it a number of times over the years the most recent time its been completely restored and looks immaculate but still completely standard....ive tried to buy it back but the fella wont sell it....not yet anyway but im determined it'll be mine again at some point.....not sure id even fit in it anymore its more out of sentiment..... though i do love those old Fords i dont think you ever forget your first love as they say
