Well I can tell you Jimmy, Si has just popped round and we placed the recoil pad in position and he LOVES it so I dare say we will be taking one of the clay traps out this weekend to put both the gun and Si through their paces.

My old Dianna 25 that i was given for my 12th birthday back in 1977, it was second hand then. The bluing had worn off and rust had pitted the barrel quite a bit, instead of re blueing i decided to have it powder coated, I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Yes it was a s/s given to me so I was giving it to another friend so that Jimmy could use it when he visited but having never fired it,  I had no idea there was an issue, it really was bloody funny to see Jimmy taking the full force of both barrels going off together, I thought he did well to stay upright. ?

Excellent job again Jimmy.

I really do like how you manage to get those stocks looking so well looked after and still keeping their character of age.

Here's a HW 77 long I bought from Jimmy and an untouched MK1 HW80 long.

The early MK2 HW77 to the front, the stock was stripped, sanded and completely re stained, worked and oiled by Jimmy, its far better than the original factory stock on the HW80 to the rear ?

                   Great work Jimmy.

                   atb Mark.

She still looks well Mark

I did not keep the 77 long but I'm pleased it went to mark

Who I new would put it to good use

I'd say it was one of the best rifles he has

It's sweet to shoot

Sfs stage 2 tuned and you can tell lads soon as you squeeze the trigger

I keep saying I'm going to buy it back one day

But I really think I'd have to prise it out of his hands

How are you keeping anyway mark well I hope my friend

Doing good Jim thanks.

My eldest son Mark jnr, is way better than 18 months ago and taking medication for the ADHD problems.

Starting to get out again now, took the Pro Sport walkies the other day , saw nowt and felt like I`d done a marathon with that heavy rifle, def` a static hunter that one.

Keep that lovely workmanship going Jim, look forward to reading your write ups, -                               - " twat " ?x

Before I forget Jim I picked up the original front and back sights for her, obviously i keep the rear sight off and safely tucked away.

Very pleased to hear your son is in a better state Mark, it is difficult to see our children having issues no matter how old they are. All the best to you both mate.

Phil
