The bullets sometimes have clay inside em. I have a spot where you can fill buckets of them. I keep trying to find the firing point as it must be a rifle range.....I figure they probably lay down or kneeled on the firing point, or constantly putting there hands inside pockets etc.....got to be coins and stuff dropped there

Where I have found others mate was near an old range but all covered in now except the butts. This was a single in open field. The others .450 and .557 near the range all have groves where the cartridge held the bullet. This one could be paper cartridge or muzzle loading.

Writing seems to be " TICL AVD CAESAR " not sure if that means Julius Caesar. Probably does.

Had few gold Roman coins and few guineas and loads of silver coins .

My brother found a broach that belonged to Mary Queen of Scots along the river in Peterborough,it'd been ripped off her neck when they took her to beheaded few miles out of Peterborough,it was 2 of 3 that was on 3 gold chains and others have never been found .it now sits in British museum and was in Oxford in a collection of Mary's jewelry for few years ,he done ok out of it ,got his house anyway.
