I've just been given a .22 blank firing pistol that used to belong to my late father and I was just wondering If anybody could please give me any info about It? All I know Is that It's made In Italy and Is called a Mondial model 1960. So has anybody got any idea about the age of this pistol? On the pistol It's got written 1960, so could this be the year of manufacture? Also guys, apart from the brown handle the entire pistol Is black. So Is this legal for me to keep or not? The blast gas upon firing Is vented at the top of the pistol through a hole that Is directly above where the barrel joins the pistols action. Any relevant info about this pistol will be greatly appreciated. Here Is a photo of a identical pistol that I found online. Cheers lads.
