Playing it safe here?

Are you brave enough to stand up and tell the class who you think the culprit is?

No. I'll leave that to you. After all, you have whittled the suspects down from one to one.

Disappointing. For a moment I thought you might actually make a worthwhile contribution.

So in conclusion......no one's responsible in your mind but the answers obvious!!??

You'd fit in perfectly on loose women ?

Pointless

In line with current events and the constant beat of the propaganda machine playing out 'fear fear fear' and 'we're all going to freeze to death'.....it's unlikely that an accident is what has accounted for this. It's got deep state operations written all over it. No one other than government agencies can access such integral areas of what is really the life line of countries, economies and modern society. Imo it's either Russia or the US behind it and let's be honest, it's unlikely to be Russia.

So pipelines never go bang?

And there aren’t private companies that operate fleets of deep water ROVs specifically for pipeline integrity, amongst other things?

I only spent 8 months managing an R&D team working in pipeline inspection, part of that in a joint project with a large specialist marine NDT company. And I’m no where near qualified to conclude anything from this.

Doesn't NDT tend to try and avoid blowing things up ? ??

Cheers.

Lol, you’d hope.

NDT identifies the integrity threats that lead to such events.

I worked in a hydraulic R&D lab where we tested hydraulic pumps, motors and transmissions to destruction.

A great job and fun........shame the salary was shite !

Cheers.

Of course they do, as is the case now.

Will we ever know what happend? And who was responsible, maybe, probably not.

At a time like this with a direct cut off to Europe the likelihood of unfair play is extremely high. Multiple spots along the pipeline screams of unfair play. One would do, but multiple blasts gets you sure results.

I remember before the Russians were allowed to travel, and then when they were free to travel, places like Dubai, Thailand, etc, were flooded with them. Pandora's box was opened.......there's no putting them back in the box now .

Cheers.

Same in Cyprus. They suddenly arrived in numbers and started buying apartments and villas all over the island.

Exactly the same in Malta and Spain lads.

If you go down to the expat areas further south (Alicante, Marbella etc) all the real estate signs are in English, Dutch, German, Nordic languages and yep… Russian. English and Russian usually the most prominent on the Ad boards!

Anyway…. There are only two possibilities for this pipeline blowing up. Mechanical failure or sabotage.

Mechanical failure in three or four places on two seperate pipelines simutaneously?  ?

This is designed to split the EU. Get countries arguing over supplies, like the vaccines.

It’s a strange one but it is known that one catastrophic failure can cause multiple other failures. A submarine or a ship for example. A failure in one area can lead to weakened structural integrity in others for a multitude of reasons. A simple design or material fault can lead to a whole ship breaking apart (Titanic, the first metal ships built that had right angled corners, Challenger etc). Environmental factors, pressure factors… the list is massive.

Once that pipe opened up, sea water would have flooded straight in under enormous pressure, that could potentially have backed up pressure further up or down the line, exposing other weaknesses in the pipeline. If that’s happened and the second pipeline is somewhere connected, if they tried to reroute the gas from the first to the second, that could potentially have done the same thing.

I’m just keeping an open mind but I am leaning towards some pink panther esque kind of sabotage. I reckon Uncle Sam and Boris did a pipeline each ?‍♂️? Same plan but fuucked it up because now both pipes are in need of tlc and Europe’s about to have a panic attack right before winter ?
