Gone all posh eh ?

Hes not much of a writer really imo more of a compiler of other peoples stories. Like Harcomes books they are a lot of bragging but not much help either. I thought Plummer was more entertaining myself.

He hasnt got any books for sale, and hes busy using his Rogets Thesaurus on articles for the Field Magazine.

Even though I have never met the lad I no doubt would find him an interesting character as well as an hunter I would also class him as a naturalist.

If you want good writing you should look at Robert S Surtees mate, a bit heavy at first but brilliant. I would class DB Plummer as an arch bull shitter, inventing himself on Tuesday and writing a book by Friday type of bloke, but sadly expecting us all to believe his blarney, but still better than J Darcy.
