Fasting...

Anybody tried it to lose a bit of weight using fasting?

I'm thinking about it. Back in my twenties I had a brief spell of Weetabix breakfast and ham salad roll for lunch, then nothing till following day. Sunday was fish and chips. Lost two stone in six weeks. Any hunger pangs were quenched with a pint of water or a jog. 

I'm shortly working away working twelves staying in a pub , lol. Really need to drop weight but just don't think I'm gonna manage it, I'm hoping the pool is accessible and they run out of beer and food lol.

Is there a local 24 hr gym chain nearby ?

Think theres a flaw in the plan mate.

Instead of fasting you could just cut out process foods an just stick to whole foods cut out any sugery sweet foods an nock an alcoholic drinks on the head. Worked for me an my middle age spread it sort of drove me on to get it to a bit of fitness stuff to see how far i can take it.

Doing it right now. Ive done it for many many years to drop a couple of stone. Takes me about 7 weeks.

Give it a good go mate.. you just need to be strong upstairs!! I like my food and drink as much as anyone but i can't get away with it like i did in my twenties!!

I've have results with fasting in the past.

Eat in a 8 hr window only.  Mine started from my second break at work.. 1:00 in the afternoon until say 8:30/9:00 pm.. i can't get out of the habit of having something at that time.. handful of nuts or bit of cake.. lol. Eat what you like within reason during those 8 hrs. 

Just drink black coffee/ tea in the morning when you get up... and on your first snap break skip the food mate and have another black cuppa. Your body will manage just fine without the food!. We're all guilty of eating out of habit.. or to the clock.. our bodies didn't evolve that way though!!

Give it a bash.. fasting for only 3 days of your five is better than nothing.  If you can manage 5... happy days!! You can massive blowout at the weekend then!?
