Poor Stock on new BSA?

I've just had a brand new bsa lightning xl grt delivered, I've been shooting quite some time but this is my first Brand New gun. I opened the box and discovered a slight bit of damage to the stock, its pretty small and certainly won't harm performance, but it's annoying and I really wish it weren't there.

Would I be justified in asking for a replacement or should I let it slide?

Thanks Timmy, exactly what I was thinking. I phoned the shop, surprisingly the main guy was out on delivery's. Emailed yesterday and today still no answer?

If possible visit the shop in person when it is full of potential costumers. Politely but loudly explain what your problem is and ask what they are going to do to about it.

 Return of faulty/ damaged goods, the law is on your side Choff if very recently purchased.

               Send or take it back A.S.A.P.
