Just had a few days up in the lakes and it seemed every other dog was a lurcher or whippet or similar.some very nice dogs.but alot not allowed off lead as not good with other dogs or livestock or doesn't come back saw 1 chasing sheep with a clueless woman chasing the dog screaming. It's seems lurchers are in fashion at the minute but with alot of clueless owners

Any breed that becomes a fashion statement, peddlers, thefts ect is going to suffer ,if only all the twats that spent big on designer mongrels, labradoodles ect had realised that the perfect companion has existed for centuries =the lurcher
