 crows nest fencing wire.

I wonder about this, Greg. Must be a good thirty plus years ago now that I stood and stared at a crows nest, exhibiting clear bits of what looked like coat hanger in the build.

At the time, I thought I must be observing something ground breaking and monumental. Now, of course, I've seen you tube clips of ~ Japan, I think? ~ where hundreds of crows build their nests pretty much exclusively with coat hangers.

But; When did it start? :hmm:I certainly never saw it fifty years ago.

I was hoping people would only spot one, there should have actually been three but one shot off as I crouched down.

I actually did only spot one at first  clocked the second after I quoted the post. Assume you came across some males on the trail of a female, can get pretty wild with loads of males all following and trying to mate the same female.

When I was a kid I was scared by an uncle with a baby garter, j mean this thing was no bigger than a decent worm thinking back ? took me till after me army days an I had me lad to get over me fear of them, I’ll handle one unless it’s an iffy type, but fcuk keeping them pets or that, wierd critters for sure ? lucky there’s enough goths out there to keep them going ?

I caught a couple today AND saw a weird as f**k jedi cloak goth in a mall but worse, FAR worse, I saw a big old fat guy, big santa clause beard wearing a bra and a mini skirt on a beach ? one of today's snakes, they are everywhere at the moment.

It's called a killdeer, I left her sitting on her nest, didn't scare her as lots of crows around.
