jukel123 6,570
Mrs has a friend with a small, cross, breed dog. Pugadoodle ffs. She asks me to train her dog to return when called. I told her I'll give it a go but she must leave I with me and collect it later. It was sat on the settee. I told it to get off. It told me to f**k off in doggy body language. I shook its scruff. It got off pronto. Took it into the garden and rewards it with grub when it returned to whistle. It was sharp, and learned the trick within 5 minutes. Then on to whistle recall without reward. First time it ignored me I ran over to it and gave it a bollocking. Revelation! The dog is cured of its selective deafness. Thinks I'm a God. My Mrs' friend is well impressed and is practising with the whistle. Problem. Within a few days it will realise there's no downside to ignoring her whistle. Why can't people understand what make dogs tick? And treat them like an inferior pack animal and not a baby! Owners need ejumacation
Borr 4,485
It's generally the owner that needs training, not the dog. Including myself in that lol.
