the extra weight is to help them get down and use their mouths after the 10 minute course ....basically dog runs and drags its head along the ground???

I genuinely don't believe weighting ANY part of a body down and then when removed, expect that body to improve performance.

It's one thing I believe, the GD trainers got wrong....

You can condition dogs for both speed and strength without weight.

Couldnt agree more, and the dog needs to be in a happy state whilst exercising and not having a burden round there neck.

Its a similar design to a cartridge belt, but it also has a strip of lead between the layers leather to add weight. Its not for a Saluki btw.

I dont really know, it could be for a Gimp I suppose, I dont hang around roid gyms myself..
