Anyone still use sheep dip .I've tried everything on the ticks  ,but dogs keep picking them up !!!

Spent a bloody fortune

Used to buy a sache from the vets for a fiver mixed it in a 45 gallon drum and me and all my mates would dunk our dogs in it, worked for everything but think it got removed from sale when the farmers started break dancing involuntarily, just got a tick remover now they are rife we’re ever deer live, you would need to talk to a proper farm vet not the modern small animal robbing franchise types that abound today ?

We were young and new no better but never had an adverse effect on us or the dogs as far as I know, it only took one dip in spring so probably far less exposure than the farmers that spent days dipping in it ?
