Plenty of whippets about but never found one as good as my 3/4 bitch over here so I never bothered breeding her. Decided to enjoy her abilities as a one off dog for me. Quote Link to post

Ive seen some nice types in the working Whippet classes. Doesn't guarantee they are really workers thought. Cheers. Quote Link to post
Sully. 340
I can put you in touch with a man and you can ask. It honestly depends if the bitch is to his liking.Very tightly bred dog around sooty Sam. Probably one of the best bred dogs on this island. Quote Link to post

Your right chartpolski about them not being working they mite say working like fck But I live in Northern Ireland and a good working whippets are very few and far between mate some smasher about But not workers I would say in all honesty there's only a handful work Quote Link to post
jukel123 6,570
Personally I would go for a track dog. It will have strong prey drive and no show blood. I bought into the working whippet myth. They are no better than any other hunting whippet. But they are slower. Decent enough dogs, but having had track dogs in the past, I prefer them to any other type. Quote Link to post
