Mole catching prices

Recommended Posts

To be honest with you I just asked for a bit of ferreting but by sounds of it someone is paid to control the rabbits , I’d happily swap a day moling for ferreting but that’s not on the cards but I’d like to get my foot in the door for when that time comes so I don’t want to rip them of £30 a time or is it by how many caught I reckon from looking around I’ll get 8 a time there’s not very much for the size of the place

Last golf course I did I charged £50 a month. They phoned me each time they had issues. But the green keeper didn't take the mickey and would wait till there was a few about not phone because he thought he'd seen a new hill somewhere. I'd go once a month on average. I drove past it almost daily though and it was only a small 9 hole course.

Really it's how longs a piece of string. Big course, green keeper who wants you at his command, long drive?

Always difficult to charge those types of job. I'd probably go meet the keeper and lay it on the line to him, see what you think of his attitude then take it from there.

Like DIDO I charge a monthly fee rather than per mole. If I charged per mole I'd be skint. I've just done 17 visits over 200 miles and not seen a mole. Just how the customers like it ?

Seriously. If you just do it for a bit of rabbitting permission you'd be selling yourself short. You can charge AND ask for permission. It isn't either / or.
