We have a Mikita one at work seems ok on stuff upto about 6” but as with all chainsaws it’s about keeping the chain sharp rather than blunt it then resharpen, just out of curiosity why do you need to

I have a dewalt 18v one, it's OK at a push but not a patch on my petrol stihl. Also got the dewalt 18v polesaw which is excellent, I was expecting the chainsaw to be the same but was disappointed

They are oreyt for cutting plastic pipe,would probably burn out cutting flags or any thing that will take wind out of it

One of the ground workers I’m mates with on a site I was on had a makita chainsaw great bit of kit had both our work vans full of logs over the space of a week on our lunch breaks

Just taken some 100plus year old beams out an old shed I,m converting to a bed sit, each lump will burn for nearly two hours with lots of heat, plus a couple of bags of sawdust to keep going overnight 👍👍

Just lit mine and jumped in the shower....come out and realised I'd left the Ash pan door open...fckin thing was roaring like a jet engine glowing red 😂

A mate made a smoker out of one of them, heavy fecker to lug round but the vibration on the ground was as good as the smoke at driving the long tails out... 😉
