What's everyone working on ?

Recommended Posts

What's one eveyones reloading bench lately? Been working on getting a load worked up for my .223 Ultra Varmit . Measureed a bunch of fire formed brass to see what my shoulder bumps gonna be yesterday and anneling today. Still trying to figure out if I'm gonna try cast or jacketed first. Fun fun fun

Nice can you show a picture of a UV case and a regular .223?

I am going to load a Hornady 123gr fmj for my 300blk but 4 of the cases has got a wrinkle in the neck I might be a dirty sizer tool. I am taking next week of work to do some Blackgrouse hunting.

O the Ultra Varmit is just the model of the rifle. It's a regular .223 . How big are your black grouse for you to be using that large if a bullet ? Getting much damage of the meat ?

I’m currently developing a long range target round for my 223. Sierra 69 grain TMK.

Playing with GRT software for internal ballistics, using the optimal barrel time concept to trim how much Vit N133 powder to use, to find the fastest node. I’ve now calibrated the software with Chrono results and fired brass volumes.

If the results are good I’ll redevelop my 0.5 MOA 55 grain Vmax hunting load, which was developed by ladder testing.

It’s yet another toy to play with ?
